PRIVATE GAME RESERVE MORNING SAFARI

Depart before dawn from Hazyview for this Morning Safari in a private reserve near Kruger. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 

Measuring 65,000 hectares and situated adjacent to the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Game Reserve is abundant with wildlife. Known for its excellent game viewing, especially leopard, this game drive almost always delivers! The benefit of this game drive is that the safari vehicles are allowed to go off-road and get you as close to the animals as possible. The reserve is exclusive as it does not allow self-drive day visitors and this is one of the few safaris that operates without having to stay at a lodge in the reserve. 

Depart early in the morning around 04h30 am (season dependent) from Hazyview in time for sunrise in the bushveld of an exclusive Private Game Reserve. At a private lodge in the reserve, you will board the open-top 4×4 game viewing vehicle for your game drive. Game drive duration is approx. 3hours. Stand a chance to spot the famous Big 5 as well as learn about the bush around you. 
Enjoy tea or coffee in the bushveld during a brief break on the safari. After your morning safari, you will return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast served on the deck overlooking the Sand River.

After breakfast, we will transfer you back to Hazyview around 11h00 am.

Please note that bookings for this only open approx 1-2months prior. Please email us should you wish to book further in advance so that we can check availability and add you to the waitlist.

Since the game drive is held at a private lodge in the Sabi Private Game Reserve, bookings are prioritised for the lodge’s in-house overnight guests first.

Collection/Drop off:

Our pickup points for this morning safari include our office at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre, Sabi River Sun Resort, Kruger Park Lodge, Hazyview Sun, Hippo Hollow, Numbi Hotel, Sanbonani, Hazyview Cabanas and most lodges in the Hazyview central area. For collection outside of our pickup range, an additional charge may apply. 
An arrangement can be made to collect clients from Skukuza, Phabeni, and Paul Kruger gates on request.
