COASTAL MOTOR CRUISE – CAPE TOWN

The motor vessels take you from the historic V&A Waterfront area out to sea and cruise along the Atlantic coastline to Green Point Lighthouse and back to the harbour.

With spectacular mountain and city views, the cruise gives a perfect ocean view of Cape Town’s splendours. This One Hour Cruise operates daily with regular departures from the V&A Waterfront. Should the weather affect the ocean, the cruise is done in the International Harbour, where you will get a sailor’s view of the wonderful harbour with Table Mountain.

VARIATION TO CRUISE (DUE TO WEATHER)
For all the vessels, when the seas are running too high or the wind is unpleasantly strong, instead of heading into Table Bay the destination is the Cape Town Harbour. This safety feature is a perfect alternative, offering magical views of the harbour, Cape Town and Table Mountain. In extreme conditions, the skipper will take every aspect into account, and even stay dockside to ensure the safety of the passengers.

Highlights include:

• 1 Hour Cruise along the Atlantic coastline/ in Cape Town Harbour (in inclement weather)

Weather: In the unlikely event that the primary boat for this cruise is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to utilize an alternative vessel for this experience. Be assured that the operator will always make every possible effort to ensure that the advertised vessel is available. Some Cruises do not have a dedicated boat for the cruise and rely on a pool of available vessels to cover fluctuations in weather, seasonal passenger numbers, and planned maintenance.

Do take medication beforehand if you have previously experienced motion sickness.

Please make sure that you arrive at the activity location at least 30min before the scheduled cruise departure to collect your boarding pass(es).
Please DO NOT go directly to the boat as the skipper will not allow you onboard without the boarding pass that must be collected at the front office.
