  • Booking Details: Please provide each rider’s weight and riding experience when booking.
  • Maximum Rider Weight: The maximum rider weight is 88 kg. Riders may be weighed on arrival to ensure accurate horse allocation and protect the welfare of the horses. If a guest exceeds the weight limit and cannot safely be accommodated, no refund will apply.
  • Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled ride to meet your horse. Late arrivals will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Minimum Age: Farm rides are available for young children from 2 years old. The minimum age for most other trails is 6 years.
  • Riding Experience: No previous riding experience is required for the Farm Ride or walk-only Bush Trails.
  • What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothing, long trousers, and closed, flat shoes. Sandals and heels are not permitted.
  • What to Bring: Bring sunscreen, a hat, drinking water, and a camera. It can become hot on sunny days.
  • Waiting Area: A small informal waiting area is available for riders and spectators. Space is limited, and the area may be dusty because this is a working stable yard.
  • Weather: Trails operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. Bring a rain jacket when needed. The operator will advise guests if unsafe conditions require postponement.
  • Guest Conduct: Guests showing signs of intoxication, causing a disturbance, or mistreating the horses will be denied participation without a refund.
  • Horse Treats: Guests may bring a few carrots to give their horse after the ride.

Do I need horse riding experience?

No previous horse riding experience is required for the Farm Ride or walk-only Bush Trails. The guides match each guest with a suitable horse and help riders feel comfortable before the trail begins.

No. Alcohol is not permitted before or during the activity. Guests showing signs of intoxication, disruptive behaviour, or mistreatment of the horses may be refused participation without a refund.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

The trails operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. If the operator considers conditions unsafe, guests will be advised of the available postponement or rescheduling arrangements.
