This tour offers an exploration of Johannesburg, starting with its city center characterized by geometric designs and towering skyscrapers. The journey continues to Soweto, a significant location in Johannesburg known as the South Western Township and a symbol of the struggle for freedom in South Africa. The tour concludes with a visit to the Apartheid Museum, dedicated to depicting the history of apartheid in the 20th century. It showcases the rise and fall of this discriminatory system through various mediums such as film footage, photographs, text panels, and artifacts. Additionally, during the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the former house of the South African president, where you will learn about the Mandela family’s history and their time in Soweto.

Note: The Apartheid Museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so please plan your visit accordingly.
