ZIPLINE ADDO – PORT ELIZABETH

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Sundays River Valley outside of Port Elizabeth, Adrenalin Addo Adventure Park is home to the highest, longest, and fastest double zipline in South Africa.

Twin cables – each 500 metres long – descend from an impressive departure tower perched seventy metres above Addo’s Sundays River.

The trail to our departure tower is a mini adventure in itself: a short raft ride across the Sundays River, followed by a 500m hike through Addo’s indigenous bush.

Take in some breath-taking views across Addo’s valley of citrus and then breathe in, breathe out and get ready to just let go.

Unlike many other ziplines, this is a hands-free zipline. With our state-of-the-art automated braking system in place, you are brought to a safe smooth stop at the end, free of any worry about when and how to brake. The only requirement from you: enjoying the ride! And enjoyment it will promise – this a chance to fly without wings. You will reach an average speed of about 60 km/h and some riders may even exceed 80 km/h – the heavier ones! (NB. maximum weight allowed 120kg).

Duration: 30min – 1hour (includes fitting of gear, getting to the launch tower, zipline, and returning to the office)
