ABSEIL TABLE MOUNTAIN – CAPE TOWN

The panoramic views of Cape Town from the top of Table Mountain are breathtaking, but the views from the abseil are even better. Descending the side of a sheer cliff you will have Camps Bay, the Atlantic Seaboard, and the deep blue ocean at your feet with the Twelve Apostles at your side. The Table Mountain Abseil is guaranteed to get your pulse racing.

The abseil activity down Table Mountain operates daily weather permitting between 9:30am and 15:30pm. WEATHER PERMITTING
Overall experience will take about an hour. Included in that time frame is the safety demonstration, harnessing up, doing the abseil and a 30 minute hike to get back on top of the mountain.

Minimum Age: 10 years
Maximum Weight: 120.0 kg
**No experience is needed, the guides show you the ropes and talk you through the whole process

*Important information : Allow for travel time to reach the top of the mountain. Check the Cableway website for up-to-date information on travel times if you are using the Cable Car to reach us.

Please note that Table Mountain Cableway is closed for maintenance annually in July/August (dates to be confirmed). During those times, will need to hike up Table Mountain to reach the abseiling point and then back down again during this period. Guided hike at an additional cost (contact us).
