The horse-drawn carriage is also a great option for persons over 100kg that cannot do a horse riding trail, but please notify us in advance to ensure we can accommodate you comfortably.

This trail is slightly longer and meanders along under the oak trees through the vineyards of the working farm and along the river.

2 HR CARRIAGE TRAIL WITH CHAMPAGNE

This trail is slightly longer and meanders under the oak trees through the vineyards of the working farm and along the river while you are enjoying a cold glass of Methode Cap Classique, South Africa’s highly acclaimed champagne-style sparkling wine.

This 2 hour private engagement carriage trail includes a bottle of champagne and light snacks. And don’t worry, we can keep a secret! Enjoy the historic Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, nestled in the foothills of the Simonsberg in South Africa’s most celebrated Franschhoek wine valley. A unique way to explore the area with a gentle pace allowing you to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

You need to arrive at least 30min before your booking for the briefing to avoid going into your booked time slot. Should you arrive late, you will forfeit some of your time or your trip altogether. It is very difficult to hold your slot for you as we have other bookings running.  Please note that everyone must sign indemnity forms individually. Should participants be under 18, they will need to be signed in by their legal guardian.
