Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Lone Creek Cave, where you’ll suit up in protective overalls, receive a safety briefing, light your candles, and head into the dark. With only candlelight to guide you, you’ll explore muddy tunnels, intriguing rock formations, and large chambers.

For those seeking more adventure, there are optional small crawls to test your courage. Sabie’s caves offer unique geological features and a real sense of exploration, whether you’re a first-time caver or an experienced adventurer. Please note: You must be okay with small enclosed spaces and reasonably physically fit to participate.

Inclusions: Overalls to wear over clothes. Please note that it is advised that you wear older clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Your booking includes overalls to protect your clothes, a helmet, a candle, and a guided tour with safety briefing.

Do I have to go through the small tunnels?

No – the smaller crawls are optional. You can choose a less extreme route if you prefer.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes, but they must be comfortable with small, dark spaces and accompanied by an adult.

How fit do I need to be?

You don’t need advanced fitness, but you should be able to bend, crawl, and walk in uneven, sometimes slippery areas.
