Experience the “Roots of Rhythm”

The signature Roots of Rhythm show is a captivating 1-hour performance that brings to life the songs, dances, and stories of tribes such as the San, Shona, Venda, Tsonga, Pedi, and Zulu. Through colorful costumes, rhythmic drumming, and dynamic choreography, guests are transported on a journey through time, exploring tribal origins, migrations, and lifestyles.

Immerse Yourself in Shangaan Culture after the show, guests are invited to the Shangaan Village Tour for hands-on participation in traditional activities like maize-grinding, stick fighting, and blowing the kudu horn. Guided by knowledgeable performers, this interactive experience culminates in a delicious traditional African lunch.

With a convenient location and engaging programs, Nyani Cultural Village is a must-visit for families, groups, or anyone eager to connect with the essence of Africa.

11:30 AM – “Limpopo Pathways” Tribal Show
12:30 PM – Shangaan Cultural Village Tour
1:15 PM – Traditional African Lunch (only if chosen to be included)

Please note that the tour & show requires a minimum of 15 people to go ahead. However, you can join an already confirmed show by viewing the upcoming calendar schedule here:

• Thursday, 23rd January – Showtime 11h30 (TBC – INCLUDING LUNCH)

Highlights include:

Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (Full Village Tour, Roots of Rhythm Dance Show), + 1 hour if lunch option chosen
Inclusions: Full Village Tour, Roots of Rhythm Dance Show. Traditional African meal for lunch (only for guests selecting the lunch option), including grilled chicken, pap, tomato relish, butternut, and Mopani worms.
Exclusions: Transport, drinks, and Items of personal nature.
