  • Transport: Self-drive or optional return transfers (R1090 pp*) from Cape Town. Pick-ups available from Atlantic Seaboard, CBD, Constantia, and Bellville. Private transfers available on request.
  • Meals: Buffet breakfast & lunch included. Beverages and extras are excluded (cash bar available).
  • What to Wear: Comfortable outdoor clothes and closed shoes. Dress in layers as mornings can be cold and windy but warmer later. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and camera.
  • Weather: Safaris operate rain or shine. Waterproof ponchos are provided.
  • Children: Child rates apply only when accompanied by two adults.

What are my chances of seeing the Big 5?

Very high. Aquila is a private game reserve where rangers track animals daily. While sightings can’t be 100% guaranteed, most visitors do see several Big 5 species.

What happens if it rains?

Safaris operate rain or shine. Ponchos are provided, and rainy conditions often bring unique animal behavior and sightings.

Is the morning safari family-friendly?

Yes. Families are welcome, but child rates apply only when accompanied by two adults.
