Important Information

Minimum Age: 6 years
Fitness Level: Suitable for most fitness levels. Beginners welcome.
Transfers: No transfers included, you will need to self-drive to the operator’s meeting point in Colchester, near Port Elizabeth /Gqeberha
Bring your own drinks & snacks (coolerbox welcome), sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a camera, and warm jacket for cooler evenings.
What to Wear: Closed shoes and socks (for professional boards), Loose, comfortable clothing, Flip-flops or swimwear (optional if you plan to swim)
Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for your safety briefing.
Gratuity Policy: Tipping is not compulsory, but if your guide or ranger made your day special, gratuities are warmly appreciated. Please note: cash tips only, as credit card facilities cannot process gratuities.
Operates daily, weather and tides permitting. Should weather or tide conditions require a time change, guests will be notified in advance.

Do I need experience to sandboard?

Not at all! The guides will show you how to ride or sled safely — perfect for beginners.

Can children join the tour?

Yes, children from 6 years and older are welcome under adult supervision.

What should I wear?

Closed shoes and socks for the boards, comfortable clothing, hat, and sunscreen. Bring a towel and swimwear if you’d like to swim.

Are transfers included?

No, but transfers from Addo Village can be arranged at an additional cost.

Can I bring my own drinks and snacks?

Yes — this is a self-catering tour. You’re welcome to bring your own cooler box and picnic.
