ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

1) MORNING SAFARIS – approx 6-7 hours

The early morning gives you a good start for your game viewing as the bush comes alive and animals become active. They start grazing and move to the water holes before the heat of the day drives them to shelter in the shade of the bush and trees. This safari is approx 6 hours, including transfer and gate time as well as an approx 1-hour breakfast stop at one of the camps.
Collection times for morning safaris are between 5:00 – 5:30 am (season dependent) and you will return at about 11:00 am after the safari.

Important Information:

• Min 2 & Max 10 people PER VEHICLE.
• This activity goes out in all weather.
• Rates exclude Kruger Park Entry Fee. This is payable direct to SANParks direct at the gate. Please bring cash for the entry fee, as the card machines are not always online at the gates.
• Please note that children under 12 years must be accompanied by 2 adults.

Duration: Half Day (approx. 6 hours including transfer and gate time)
Inclusions: Bottled water, and the expertise of a knowledgeable and local guide.
Exclusions: Kruger Park Entry Fees, Meals/Drinks, Items of a Personal Nature.

Collection/Drop off:

Our pickup points for this Kruger Park safari include our office at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre, Sabi River Sun Resort, Kruger Park Lodge, Hazyview Sun, Hippo Hollow, Numbi Hotel, and most lodges in the Hazyview central area. For collection outside of our pickup range, an additional charge may apply. 
An arrangement can be made to collect clients from Skukuza, Phabeni, and Kruger gates on request.

2) QUAD BIKE TRAIL (1 HOUR)

Experience an off-road quad bike trail in Hazyview. The quad bike trail meanders in the bush, through the farmlands and valleys.

Duration: 1 hour guided quad bike trail. 
Inclusions: Guided quad bike trail, helmets

3) ARCHERY TARGET SHOOTING (1 HOUR)

Explore the art of archery in an exciting and fun way in Hazyview! This is indeed a sport for all, regardless of your physical ability. Originally considered an art of war in history and was used in many battles, nowadays it is used to build up character and improve concentration.  Compete against your family and friends and see who has the best aim. You will have a minimum of 5 turns to shoot at a target and score points accordingly. Challenge your competitor to see who gets the highest score for the win.

Duration: 1 hour. 
Inclusions: Unlimited arrows. 
Exclusions: Items of personal nature.

4) AERIAL CABLE TRAIL

The Aerial Cable Trail glides over the indigenous forests along the Sabie River Valley located in Hazyview. Each section of Hazyview’s aerial cable trail varies in length from 70 to 230 meters linking 10 platforms, making the total length of the trail 1.2km. Built to South African civil engineering standards, the equipment has been designed specifically for this activity. Qualified guides escort all groups. 

The maximum per person weight is 120kg. 

Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours. 
Inclusions: safety equipment, bottled water.
Exclusions: Items of personal nature.

5) ELEPHANT INTERACTION

Experience the thrill of being close to these magnificent creatures. Witness their intelligence, compassionate nature, and the deep bonds they share with their human family. Elephant Handlers will share their wealth of knowledge about fascinating elephant behaviour. Enjoy a wonderful hour of touching and feeding the elephants. Experience the remarkable trust that has developed through gentle interaction.

Inclusions: Educational interaction experience with the elephants.

6) REPTILE PARK TICKETS

Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park in Hazyview is home to over 50 species of reptiles such as snakes, crocodiles, tortoises, and lizards, plus educational shows with feedings. Please note that shows are held daily (except Fridays) and are subject to minimum numbers and weather. Click here to view the schedule.

Duration: The average visit is approx. 1-3 hours.
