Start with an exciting river rafting experience on the Sabie River, followed by a scenic 1-hour quad bike trail through the riverbank, farmlands, and forest. Test your aim with archery target shooting, then enjoy the action of paintball. Between activities, use your included meal voucher at the Adventure Centre’s restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or a snack — a great way to refuel for more fun. Important Information
- A minimum of 2 guests is required for this combo
- Activities are suitable for beginners — no prior experience required
- Children 14 years and older may ride a quad bike alone; younger children will go as passengers
- Rafting runs all year round in Hazyview.
- Rainy Season (October – April): Expect higher water levels, faster rapids, and an adrenaline-filled ride. Rain usually falls in short bursts, often on hot days (over 30°C almost year-round), so tours still go out. This is the best time if you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping and fun experience.
- Dry Season (May – September): Water levels are lower, and some rocks may be exposed, but the trip is still lots of fun and suitable for all ages. It’s a slightly gentler adventure, perfect for those who prefer a calmer pace.
- Minimum age to join is 5 years old*. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by 2 adults.
- *Child Policy: Rafting is suitable for both adults and children. However, depending on water levels during the rainy season, the minimum age may be increased for safety reasons. Please provide your child’s age at the time of booking so we can confirm if participation is suitable.
What time can we have our lunch?
You can enjoy your meal voucher at any time during the day, as long as it is before 16:00 (restaurant closes at 17:00).
How physically demanding is the Full-Day 4 Adventure?
This combo involves moderate physical activity: Quad biking: Easy to moderate effort, mostly steering and balancing River rafting: Team paddling and light navigation; moderate effort Archery: Low physical effort Paintball: Moderate effort, mostly short bursts of movement
Is the activity suitable for children?
Yes. Children aged 14+ can ride a quad bike solo; younger children ride as passengers. All other activities are supervised and adapted for safety.
Can I skip an activity if I don’t want to participate in all four?
Yes, you can choose to skip an activity, but the package price remains the same. If you skip an activity on the day, you can relax at the Adventure Centre until the next one starts.
Do I need to be able to swim for the river rafting?
While being able to swim is an advantage, it is not mandatory. You’ll wear a life jacket, and qualified river guides will ensure safety throughout the activity. Please let us know if you are not a good swimmer or unable to swim.
