HIKING – HAZYVIEW

This hiking trail starts at the meeting point of the Sabaan, Sabie, and Mac-Mac rivers in Hazyview. The trail heads back along the scenic Mac-Mac River into the forest. The path follows the banks of the Mac-Mac River for most of the way but breaks away now and then to take you up and down a few steep hills.

This is an easy walk of about 14 kilometers. Lush vegetation and an impressive amount of bird, tree, and fish species are to be found in the ample stretches of shade and riverbanks. 

At the halfway mark you cross a bridge to the Matumi picnic site where you can replenish energy levels and rest your legs or have a quick swim.
This hike is guided, so get your family and friends together to have a fun hiking experience! 

Minimum of 4 people to go out – ask to join a group!

Duration: Approx. 3-5hours. Fitness dependent.
