Experience a full-day Kruger National Park safari from Hazyview in an open 4×4 vehicle with a professional guide. Kruger is home to the Big Five and the greatest variety of large mammals in South Africa, and a full day gives you time to explore multiple habitats, waterholes, and rest camps. Depart early, settle into elevated seats for better game viewing and photos, and let your guide share animal behavior, tracks, and bush lore along the way. You’ll stop at Kruger rest camps for breakfast and lunch (own account) or bring a packed meal. Private vehicles are available and required for families with children under 6 years.

Our pickup points for this Kruger Park safari include our office at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post & Tourism Centre, Sabi River Sun Resort, Kruger Park Lodge, Hazyview Sun, Hippo Hollow, Numbi Hotel, Lions Rock Rapids, Gecko Lodge, Sanbonani Resort, Hazyview Cabanas, Aan De Vliet, Mackers Africamps, Hazyview Adventure Backpackers, Tranquil Nest, Umbhaba Lodge, and most lodges in the Hazyview central area. For collection outside of our pickup range, an additional charge may apply. 
An arrangement can be made to collect clients from Skukuza, Phabeni, and Kruger gates on request.

What type of safari vehicle do we use?

We use comfortable, open 4x4 safari vehicles that sit higher than regular cars, giving you excellent visibility for game viewing and photography.

How do we pay the Kruger National Park entry fee?

You’ll pay your entry fee directly to SANParks when you arrive at the gate. Kruger National Park is a cashless environment, so please bring a debit or credit card for payment. Valid Wild Cards are accepted for entry.

What if it rains?

Yes—safaris still go out in the rain. Guides carry rain ponchos, and the vehicle’s side panels can be rolled down for extra protection. Summer rain cools the air and wildlife sightings are still possible. Please dress for changing weather conditions (light jacket or rain layer).

Will we see the Big 5?

Animals in the Kruger Park are free roaming, so sightings can't be guaranteed. Our guides do however use an internal comms system to find the best animal sightings, and will do their best to ensure that you receive WOW animal encounters during your safari.

What should I pack for the safari?

Bring your ID/Passport, a hat, sunscreen, and snacks. Don’t forget a camera or smartphone and a power bank so you never miss a WOW moment!
