Experience a full-day Kruger National Park safari from Hazyview in an open 4×4 vehicle with a professional local guide. A full day gives you more time to explore different habitats, waterholes and rest camps while looking for the Big Five and the many other species found in Kruger.
Travel in elevated seats for excellent game viewing and photography as your guide shares animal behaviour, tracks and knowledge of the bush. We stop at rest camps for breakfast and lunch (own account), or you can bring packed meals. Families with children under 6 years must book a private vehicle.

Duration: Approx. 10–12 hours, including collection, transfers, gate time and meal stops. Pick-up times vary by season and accommodation location.

Exclusions: Kruger Park entry fees (charged separately according to the travel date), meals, drinks, and items of a personal nature.
Important Information
- Minimum 2 guests required for scheduled safaris to depart – ask to join a group! Safaris in private vehicles can be booked from 1 guest.
- No children under 6 on scheduled safaris. Families with children under 6 years must book a private vehicle.
- Vehicles seat a maximum of 10 guests. Seats are not pre-booked on scheduled safaris. Requests may be made in advance, but are not guaranteed unless a private vehicle is booked.
- Refusal to join a safari due to seating preferences or other personal preferences without prior arrangement will be treated as a no-show and is not eligible for refund or cancellation.
- Infants and children each count as individual seats and may not sit on laps.
- Rates for children under 12 years are only valid if accompanied by at least 2 adults.
- Safaris operate in all weather conditions, so please bring a jacket or rain poncho if needed.
Kruger Park Entry Fees
Up to 31 October 2026: Kruger Park entry fees are not included and are payable directly to SANParks at the gate. Kruger is a cashless facility.
From 1 November 2026: We pre-book your Kruger Park Day Pass and entry fee to guarantee entry and avoid the payment queue, which can take an hour or longer. These charges are billed separately and are not included in the safari rate.

Collection / Drop-off
October–March: Hazyview pick-up approximately 04:00–05:00; return approximately 15:00–15:45.
April–September: Hazyview pick-up approximately 04:30–05:30; return approximately 15:30–16:15.
Exact times depend on your Hazyview collection point and will be confirmed with your booking.

No. We stop at Kruger rest camps for breakfast and lunch, where you can purchase meals and refreshments for your own account, or you may bring packed meals and snacks. Bottled water is included.
Children aged 6 and older can join scheduled safaris. Children under 6 may only travel in a private safari vehicle. Each infant and child occupies their own seat and may not sit on a lap. Child rates for under-12s apply only when accompanied by at least 2 adults.
Collection is available from selected Hazyview accommodation and Perry’s Bridge Trading Post, including Sabi River Sun, Kruger Park Lodge and Hippo Hollow. Other Hazyview-area pick-ups may carry a surcharge. Collection at Skukuza, Phabeni Gate or Kruger Gate may be arranged on request.
Wild animals roam freely in Kruger National Park, so sightings of the Big Five cannot be guaranteed. Your guide will use local knowledge and communications to look for rewarding wildlife sightings throughout the day.
Safaris operate in all weather conditions. Rain ponchos are provided, and the safari vehicle has side panels that can be rolled down for added protection. Bring a light jacket or rain layer.
Yes. A private vehicle is available on request and is required for families travelling with children under 6 years. Private safaris can be booked for one guest, subject to availability.
